Scott Morris felt a calling into Christian education at the very beginning of his career. He was the principal of Evangelical Christian Academy in The Dalles, Oregon. Later he taught in the Washougal public schools for 14 years, followed by 17 years at Clark College.
He started CHILD Ministries, the non-profit organization that provides tax exemption and oversees the funding and operation of Agape Christian Academy. He served on the board of directors of CHILD Ministries as a director and an officer of the corporation for several years. In 2014 he took a leave of absence from the board to teach at ACA. After four years in the classroom, he returned to the board to continue serving ACA in that capacity. He currently serves as the Board Treasurer.
Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music education and a Master of Education degree with special emphasis on literacy. He holds a current Washington State substitute teaching certificate.
Scott and his wife Christie have been married since 1977. Three of their four children live in Clark County, and all their local grandchildren have attended Agape Christian Academy.
